As the racing season is coming to an end, the battle for championship points is at its prime in several racing series. Many Elka team riders have once again been on the podium this weekend and we’re very proud of them. Here’s a quick breakdown of those amazing results across America.

In the Pro ATV Class, Beau Baron claimed another win followed by his teammate David Haagsma in second place. Sounds familiar? Seems like it’s back to usual ways with those two rockets. There was a lot of talking around the pits about Beau’s new handlebar. Some argue that it helped him win while others speculate he’s trying to intimidate his rivals and prove who’s the alpha male in his team. Who knows?

The Pro-Am Class podium was swept by Elka Team riders with David Flores earning his first victory in this class, Mike Sloan in 2nd and Matt Hancock in 3rd place. Flores also won the Production A race and clinched the championship in that class. After claiming the holeshot, Flores was never seriously challenged in taking the win, his sixth of 2015.

“I set my pace a little too slow at the start. I picked it up and ran down some guys to get up to third. We put down some pretty fast laps. My ELKA Stage 5 shocks worked flawlessly.” – said Hancock after the race.

Matt Hancock also raced to a 2nd place podium finish in the SXS Unlimited Class and a 5th Place in the SXS Pro Class aboard his Elka-equipped Can-Am Maverick. The kid keeps busy on the track and this translates into solid results at the end of the day. Good thing he’s been working hard on his physical condition this season!

On the other side of the country, Jarrod McClure (alias J-Rod) battled his way to another podium finish with a solid 3rd place in the XC1 Pro ATV Class. Strong riding and good suspension helped him gain 3 spots from start to finish despite muddy conditions. Jarrod is now comfortably sitting in 3rd place in the overall points standings of the Series.

Can-Am Factory Team racers and brothers Cody Miller and Hunter Miller had a great outcome at the TORN race over the weekend. Hunter took the win in the ATV Pro Class with Cody in 2nd and Berni Ainslie in 3rd. Cody won the 4×4 Class on the Can-Am Outlander 1000 and Cody Taylor was a close 2nd. On Sunday the SXS race was tight between Cody Taylor and Cody Miller. Cody T. pulled the holeshot and led the whole race while Miller was able to stay on him until they hit the dusty part of the track where Cody M. was forced to hold off to keep the car on the track.

Congratulations to all our riders!
