El Cajon, California’s Garrin Fuller clinched the ITP Quad Cross Motorcross Championship with a 1st overall in the Final ITP round at Glen Helen Raceway. By claiming the overall victory Fuller capped off a very successful year, scoring 8 podium finishes and winning the Production 450 Expert Championship title with 222 points over factory Can Am rider Dylan Zimmerman who scored 204 points.
Fuller’s success was in large part, due to the strong performance of his Duncan Racing prepared Honda TRX 450. The motor in his Honda proved very fast but also reliable, Duncan Racing’s internal engine modifications coupled with a Fat Boy 4 exhaust and Vortex ignition were just too much for the competition.
Fuller’s advantage did not stop at the power plant. He was clearly piloting the best handling bike in the class. Using Roll Design suspension components throughout combined with Elka Suspension shocks and GPR steering stabilizer, Fuller was fast and smooth at every race.
The ITP tire and DWT wheel combination used by Team Duncan Racing for over 20 years proved, once again to be the winning way.
Fuller will be piloting a Duncan Racing Honda again in 2010 as he defends his ITP Championship, he will also be vying for a WORCS Championship in the Pro-Am 450 class.
Fuller would like to offer a huge THANK YOU to his 2009 sponsors and expects all to be with in his quest for more titles in 2010.

Winning the overall ATV and Class 25 victory for the second straight year was the team led by Wayne Matlock, El Cajon, Calif. Matlock’s teammates this year were returning riders Harold Goodman, Brownstown, Mich., and Wes Miller, Fallbrook, Calif., along with Josh Caster, also of El Cajon. The team covered the course in a championship time of 16:54:52, averaging 39.78mph on the No. 1a Honda TRX700XX equipped with Elka Suspension. The talented team won two of the three SCORE Baja races this season to earn their second straight season point title in their class.

Wayne commented after the race:
There was a lot of traffic at the finish but we really didn’t have any problems. We just put gas in it and went all day long. We changed a couple tires and that was it. I enjoyed riding at night because it’s easier to see oncoming traffic. I’ve been competing in the Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 with the goal of winning this race.

The Pro ATV Class 24 was won by Tom Wright, Tabernacle, N.J./ Renaud Fortin & Pierre-Yves Deneault, Canada/ Eric Gerber, Medford, N.J., on a Honda TRX450 also equipped with Elka Suspension. It is worth noting that Pierre-Yves, who is working as a R&D technician at Elka, was actually testing some new prototype Elka shocks in the most grueling environment.
Congratulations to our riders!
