Round 7 took WORCS Racing back to one of their favorite tracks in their own backyard at Straddeline ORV Park in McCleary, Washington. It was far, far away from home for us but thanks to Eliminator Racing, Rick and Donna Ellsworth, who transported all the Breast Assured bikes, we were able to fly in for the race. It was worth the long trip, the weather was cool and the scenery was beautiful. Very different from our other races: tall trees, lots of shade, lots of Washington day-riders. The track was great, huge covered grandstands for spectators, many places to pit and camp, fun and challenging WORCS X section. On Saturday, Tim Shelman and Beau Baron went head to head on the WORCS X track and after Tim flipped upside-down when trying to get over the tires, Beau took the lead and got the win. Other quads and motorcycles got a chance to ride as well, but the most entertaining show was watching the kids taking on the track on their bicycles.

The motocross section of the track had some nice tabletop jumps, a couple of doubles and a small rhythm section. The woods were tight and technical. Passing was very difficult. There was one fast fire-road going up the mountain, coming back down the mountain was a tight and twisty trail through the trees with big downed trees and roots that many racers got hung up on, including Gregg Conroy.
Special thanks to Tire Blocks. In this terrain, it was nice knowing we didn’t have to worry about flat tires. Lone Star and their nerf bars held up great as well as their other racing products. DT Air Filters kept everything nice and clean. Racer’s Edge motors ran great. DWT Tires, great traction in the real dirt. Elka Suspension and Roll Design handled the motocross track and the tight woods awesomely. Thanks to the rest of our sponsors:
