Testing on the new Maverick X3 X-DS from Can-Am is completed and we’re proud to introduce our Stage 5 shock absorbers for this popular new UTV! Available both for the front and rear suspension, these shock absorbers were designed to correct the problems our R&D team identified on the stock suspension.
In its stock outfit, the X3 X-DS is low to the ground and therefore tends to bottom out too quickly over a series of bumps. It’s also not the best configuration to gain good traction under hard cornering. Furthermore, it has a lot of spring preload and the suspension seems to always work toward the last couple inches of stroke.
By moving the ride height from 12″ to 14.25″ and offering more adjustment on the preload, the Elka Stage 5 shock absorbers are correcting these problem areas so the X3 X-DS is now able to ride as fast as possible over any kind of trail.
The Stage 5 setup offers adjustment on the following:
– High-Speed Compression
– Low-Speed Compression
– Rebound
– Spring Preload
