The first round of the Dirt Series on the West Coast was on February 12th and young Travis Sallee was part of the event in the UTV 170 class. With two races at the REM track in Glen Helen, CA, the Elka Stage 5 equipped Polaris RZR 170 needed to be up to the task for an action packed day of racing.
The first race did not start the best for Travis, dropping to the last position after the green flag. He was however able to drive back up to the front and he crossed the finish line in 3rd position.
Race #2 went better with a great start and a lead position to the finish. With this victory and the 3rd place on the first race, Travis finished the day in overall 2nd place!
