“I took the lead in the second corner in the Pro Am race, but I got caught with 45 minutes left and had a great battle for the lead,” said Matt Hancock. “My bike worked great. The Maxxis tires were ripping in the sand. I’m stoked to get my first Open A win here and to finish second in points. I guess I just keep getting second. Maybe next year I can get to the top.”
