Tyler Red Bud Podium
Hiram, Ohio 7-30-14: After two lackluster rounds in Minnesota and New York, Vechery Racing and Pro and Pro-Am Rider Tyler Hamrick were able to bounce back into contention this past weekend at the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC RedBud ATV National. This round also marked the return of Vechery Racing/Never Sleep Design backed amateur racer Dan Hoisington.
Saturday’s AMA Pro action would see an inspiring ride from Hamrick as he matched his best overall finish of 8th place. Tyler would put his DASA powered Honda in the top ten in both motos taking a 9th place finish in moto one and take an 8th place finish in moto two. Tyler leaves Michigan 9th overall in Pro points heading into the final round at the historic Loretta Lynn’s facility and hopes to gain the 8 points needed to take over 8th place overall.

Pro-Am action on Sunday would see a repeat of last years performance for Hamrick as he would finish once again on the podium in Michigan. “We were able to start up front in both motos Sunday which really helps us out. The combination of Six5Design/Elka suspension with the Maxxis tires are really getting us off the line on Sundays,” remarked Hamrick. With his podium finish Tyler was able to move within 18 points of first and 14 points of second.
Tyler Red Bud 2014Vechery Racing/Never Sleep Designs Satellite support rider Dan Hoisington returned to the track in a big way this past weekend taking a 1st and 4th for 3rd overall in College 16-24 after breaking his leg just a few weeks ago. Dan went into his home race with the points lead in College before unfortunately crashing in Friday practice with what looked like at that time a season ending crash, but after going through accelerated rehabilitation Dan was able to make this round and now sits 6th in points only 25 points out of first. Vince Mirman took home an 11th place finish in Production B and a 5th place finish in Open B. Alex Pafford was able to claim a 5th place finish in Super Mini and a pair of 7th place finishes in Schoolboy Jr Open and Schoolboy Sr. Senior rider David Schrock finished 12th overall in Senior 40+.
