The events were held at Honolulu Hills Raceway in Taft, CA.<\/p>\n<p>With dry conditions came dust, so Baron knew starting positions were going to be the difference between winning and eating roost. In Pro ATV race, he outgunned David Haagsma for the lead on the first lap and dominated from there.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe tried to go inside to try to protect his line and I never lifted and went outside on the berm,\u201d said Baron. \u201cI barely got ahead of him and that was enough for me to get out front and hit my lines in the off road. I was riding well today. I like this place and my quad was running really well. The Elka suspension was great and the bike just ripped. The CSTs came off the concrete amazingly. It was nice having a gate drop because it\u2019s super fair. It\u2019s straight up and it\u2019s fun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In SXS Pro Production, Baron started sixth and overcame heavy traffic to make it to second early in the race. From there, he ran a hard pace to finish second.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHaagsma had a 30-second gap early on that I was able to cutdown toward the end of the race, but he drove great and he knew what he had to do,\u201d said Baron. \u201cI took a second and I\u2019m good with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In SXS Pro Stock, Baron earned his third podium of the weekend.
