Hunter Miller came in to the final round at Ironman with an 11 point lead over Kyle Chaney and Jamie Mccoy who were tied for 2nd. If either of them won, he’d have to finish 3rd or better to secure the championship. With a great start of the race, Miller pulled the holeshot on row 1 with Kyle and Jamie right behind! Toward the end of lap 1, Jamie made a pass on Kyle and Miller up a hill but had a roll over at the top! This left Kyle and Hunter battling at the front.
Mid way through lap 2, Kyle and Hunter hit a long train of lappers. Kyle had a great line picked out and made the pass along with all of the lap traffic. From here, Miller kept pace with Kyle and keep him in sight knowing that he would be running a winning pace and they’d both be the podium!
After the race, Hunter Miller was awarded the #1 plate!
