Bakersfield, CA (6/1/2016) – H&M Motorsports’ David Haagsma won in his return to WORCS Pro ATV competition at Iron Mine Race Park in Cedar City, UT.
Haagsma is running full time in the AMA ATV National Championship this season, as well as the WORCS Pro SXS series, but the defending WORCS Pro ATV champion switched gears and ran the ATV race, as well. From the start, Haagsma was on a mission, taking the lead from former teammate, Beau Baron, on the second lap and setting sail from there.
“I really like this track, so I figured I’d come out and run it. It’s been awhile since I raced a quad in WORCS, so I was nervous on the line because Beau is always a great competitor. It feels great to get this win. I’ve been struggling back east and had some bad luck. To get back in the top spot feels great.” – said Haagsma.
Haagsma heads back to the AMA ATV Motocross National Championship for Round 6 of the series, June 4-5 at Monster Mountain MX in Tallassee, AL.
