The 2018 edition of the Dakar rally resumed this past weekend and long time Elka sponsored rider Ignacio Casale took the overall win in the quad class on his Elka Stage 5 equipped Yamaha Raptor.

With a final time of 53h 47′ 04”, Casale finished 1h 38′ 52” ahead of second position.

“I am very happy, very motivated, very tired, it has been the longest Dakar of my sports career, but we have been able to do things very well and that is has noticed in the general classification. Thanks to all the Chileans for the support”, declared the racer.
