Elka is proud to introduce a new line of highly capable off-road shocks that delivers higher performance and improved comfort as a daily driver for Toyota trucks. These new vehicle-specific shocks are tuned to deliver the optimal combination of solid and stable handling for on-road driving with plush compliance and strong ramping effect for extra bottom-out protection while off-road driving.
These new products are now becoming available through select, specialized premium resellers in limited quantities for the Toyota Tacoma, Tundra, 4Runner/Lexus GX470 & FJ Cruiser. More applications are currently being developed and tested for the Ford F-150 and F-250, to become available in late fall 2018.
Available Shock Models & Adjustments
- Adjustable model features independent high & low-speed compression (front & rear) and spring preload (front only)
- Non-adjustable model features spring preload (front only)
- Offered with 56mm (2.5″) or 66mm (3.0″) body depending on vehicle-specific configuration
Standard Features
- High-volume external reservoir (remote) for low operating temperature
- Built from CNC-machined and forged aluminium parts, aluminum bodies and premium-quality internal components
- Proprietary ultra-low friction, light viscosity semi-synthetic oil blend, ultra-resistant to high operating temperature
- Coilover models use Elka’s ultra-lightweight high-tensile alloy springs or Eibach springs (depending on model & configuration)
- Fully rebuildable using affordable replacements parts and springs, multiple replacement valving shim stacks available
- Includes all mounting hardware and brackets
