The riders from left to right: Jose Luis Meza Vélez, Arnoldo Castañeda, Juan Naranjo, Manlio Diaz, Felipe Vélez and Mario Diaz

Last weekend, our good friend Felipe Vélez and his teammates travelled 1000 miles from their hometown of San Felipe in Mexico up to La Paz (Baja California) to race and get on 2 podiums. Felipe’s team mixed up with some local riders from Team DLR to make it possible to race two different classes. The 200 miles race started on July 21st at 1:00 PM at cd. Constitucion in La Paz, streched for 350 km to finish in La Paz (Baja California). Both teams had a great run and got in front early in the race, around km 60, then led all the way to the finish line to win the Pro ATV Open Class 25 (Team #1A) and Pro ATV Class 24 (#150A). The combination of Elka Suspension shcoks / Roll Design a-arms / Duncan Racing made their Honda TRX450R run fast to win the race. This race helped the guys prepare and make a great team for the next Baja 1000. Congratulations to both teams from everyone at Elka Suspension!
