Cody Janssen Gravity Park Race Report

In the midst of the summer break of the Mountain Dew AMA ATV National Championship Tour and looking for seat time, Cody Janssen took his talents to a local race at Gravity Park in Chilton, Wisconsin last Saturday (June 15). Cody does a lot of practicing at Gravity Park, but since his last visit many track changes were made. “The track is the best I ever remember it being.” Cody said about the track. “It’s much more technical and demands more from us riders. I can’t wait to get out there!”

mvp1Cody Janssen and his Team Janssen Motorsports FSI Honda #25 practice machine was competing in the Quad A and Open 14+ Quad classes on this day. The 21 year old would win all 4 of his motos in convincing fashion. He got every holeshot and won each race by 20+ seconds. Cody came back to his local track and made his great talents very apparent in front of his home fans. “It was a great day for me!” Cody said after the races. “The track is only 15 minutes from my house so to come get some laps in and win a little money, it was a no brainer. Also, I want to thank/give credit to Gravity Park and all the people who put their time and effort into making this track so great. I’m going to keep putting my work in and bring my A game to Steel City in a few weeks. I got better today.”

Lastly, Cody must thank all of his sponsors. First and foremost his great team, Team Janssen Motorsports FSI, Roy, Faye, and Troy Hill, Jimmy Sims, his amazing family, friends, and fan base. Also a huge shout out to Elka Suspension for everything they do for Cody! “I always know I have the best suspension out there, the Elka Stage 5 is unmatched. Great product and even greater people!” Also, Maxxis Tires, SSI Decals, DP Brakes, Thor MX, 100%, Oshkosh Tattoo and Good Girl Piercing, Dynamite ATV, Tweeked Powderworks, JB Racing, Rath, Renthal, Motoworks, Hinson Clutches, Stephen Propson at P501, CP Pistons, KIK ATV, Herbalife, Don Straus, Andrew Vogt/EVR, 136 Photography, Terry Moore at Advanced Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine, his phenomenal mechanics Todd and Dan, and everyone else that helps him out.
